Spring=camping
The trees are starting to bloom and cedar season is coming to an end. It's time to start thinking about camping again and our spring break trip. We have decided on a 5 day east Texas trip. Last year we went to Caddo Lake and it was much less crowded than McKinny Falls was the year before. We will start at Stephen F Austin State Park for a night. Then we will visit Village Creek State Park for 2 nights and finish with 2 nights at Martin Dies Jr. State Park in Jasper. So far it looks like great hiking, bike riding, geocaching, and canoeing. We may be able to sneak in a one night trip in 2 weeks, but it depends on the always finicky Texas springtime weather. So hang in there, we will be back on the trail very soon!
